I’ve just started receiving my state old age pension from the UK. They sent me a letter telling me this and enclosed a leaflet about what I need to do should my circumstances change. It contained this priceless invocation to submit unquestioningly and wholeheartedly to authority.

I wonder how they would like to get bombarded with info like, my expenses have increased because I got a new dog, and my sister is visiting for the summer. Not sure if that increases my household size.
