If you’ve dropped by hoping for some Justin Bieber then you’re definitely in the wrong place, but there’s plenty of excellent Canadian music to choose from. As I haven’t featured him for a while, I’ve gone with the great Neil Young. This from ‘After The Gold Rush’, a cornerstone of my early seventies LP collection.

I guess that you couldn’t find a video. I am happy that you didn’t go with Justin Bieber.
I found a video, no problem (there are several) but – and this happens sometimes, for no obvious reason – the image of the video would not come up, just the shortcode, so I just linked to that. Not the same, though…
I found you have to use HTML to make the spacing come out right. WordPress does this thing where they take the end-of-line characters off, leaving you with all the lines running into each other. I take the lyrics and put them in BBEdit (a Mac text editor) and change all the end-of-lines into HTML br tabs, then copy the result and paste it into the block. It’s a pain.

Glad you liked the song, but it is a real pain when the spacing won’t work. They must be aware of this, so presumably just can’t be bothered to fix it.
Oh, it’s awful. I have to keep moving blocks back into place because it seems to put them wherever the hell it wants. I always check over everything because the images I tell it to center look like they’ve been centered, then you preview and they’re all left justified. I’m writing just as much HTML as I used to just to deal with the shortcomings of the editor. But you see, it’s not about us…
