One-Liner Wednesday: ‘Mark it, nuncle’

I thought this line sounded vaguely familiar. And, indeed, Shakespeare got there first with this good advice:

“Mark it, nuncle

Have more than thou showest

Speak less than thou knowest

Lend less than thou owest”

King Lear, Act I, scene iv
