This week for her Song Lyric Sunday challenge, Helen is looking for something on the theme of ‘Car/Cars’. Obviously – as with ‘driving’, which came up about a month ago – there’s no shortage of potential candidates.

There’s always Gary Numan’s ‘Cars’, of course, but my first thought was Dylan’s ‘From A Buick 6’. However, Dylan is no stranger to this particular thread and that particular song is certainly not the stand-out track on ‘Highway 61 Revisited’.

So instead, as we’re now into September, here’s a little bit of summer to hang on to from the Beach Boys:
